We were SO excited to be visited by Jenna from Zoolab and all of her amazing animals today. We have learnt so much and Jenna was very impressed with our learning and the interesting facts that we already knew. Miss Orritt was extremely proud of us for being so brave and showing our School Value of ‘Courage’ today by holding and touching the different animals.
Here is what we had to say about our favourite parts:
- I like the snake because it felt soft and smooth.
- I can’t believe that an African land snail has TEN THOUSAND teeth!
- The cockroach felt tickly on my hands.
- My favourite part was when the frog jumped out of its box and towards us.
We had a brilliant morning and Miss Orritt was so proud of us for being so sensible too.
We found it very funny looking at our faces on the photographs afterwards!

What a great experience. Maisie was quite nervous about the visit but was so excited to tell us she held a snake.
